Welcome to All-Court Tennis Camp- 2009

All-Court Tennis Camp 2009 is underway! We are running seven (individual) weeks of camp this summer, from June 15th to July 31st. ALL WEEKS ARE OPEN! All Court returns this summer with some fresh ideas for teaching tennis to all levels and abilities. We also have an enhanced program in the afternoons for advanced players hoping to be successful high school and tournament players. (We, welcome the return of All-Court staff member, standout collegiate player, and former 4-year Pingree #1, Garrett Lane, who will be helping with this program.)

We offer half-day (am and pm) and full-day camps, beginner to advanced, ages 6-16. See "Programs" above, for details and tuition. We are offering substantial discounts for siblings and car-pool groups as well as follow-on weeks of camp. We also are doing our best to keep costs low this summer (no tuition increase) and improving the program and experience for each camper. We also have had no noticable problems with the unusually wet weather this past week. We have gym space, plenty of staff, and have had very productive days learning new skills and breaking down our strokes on slow-motion video. We also have had a chance to enjoy Wimbledon, and play a game or two of "All-Court Wimbledon BINGO" --soon to be in pdf-form on this website!

All-Court continues to follow the new USTA guidelines for teaching tennis to the young and newest to the sport. We use low-compression balls and smaller courts for longer rallies and more fun. For more on QuickStart Tennis see link below:

  • We are continually updating information to this website, but all essential forms are available to download and print out as PDF's. (Note--it is preferable to use the full-page registration form to sign up rather than the shorter form on the brochure, even though both are downloadable.) Many questions can be answered through this website if you look in the right places: FAQ's, Programs, Schedules, etc.. However, I always enjoy talking to parents about camp, so If you have any questions about our program, please do not hesitate to call: 978-465-6564/857-753-6557, or email me at eolson@pingree.org.

...Give your child the opportunity to enjoy a week-long day camp teaching the life-sport of tennis.

As you can see from last summer's staff photo at left, we very much enjoyed our summer on Massachusetts' North Shore--and let tennis go to our heads. All-Court founder and USPTA-certified tennis teacher, Eric Olson, is a Pingree School mathematics teacher and tennis/soccer/table-tennis coach at Pingree School. All-Court tennis camps employ talented and enthusiastic former and current players from the Eastern Independent League Championship-winning boys and girls tennis teams.(See the FAQ page for additional information on the facilities and directions.)

    Campers age 6-16 can enjoy:

    • Experienced coaches who understand the needs of beginners, as well as advanced players. Our goal is to give each camper a well-rounded "All-Court" game.

    • A wide-range of appropriate teaching methods and strategies that make tennis fun to learn.

    • A low teacher-camper ratio of about 1:4.

All-court camps are fully licensed and insured. For more information please call: (978) 465-6564--we will return your call as soon as possible, or e-mail us at eolson@pingree.org.
